World Conference on Comprehensive Critical Care (W4C)

The 2nd edition of 4-day long World Conference on Comprehensive Critical Care (W4C) hosted by Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, SRMS IMS under the aegis of ISCCM Bareilly branch, was a learning extravaganza.
Held on the theme ‘Sepsis’ at SRMS IMS Bareilly and Jim Corbett, Ramnagar, Uttarakhand from October 13-16, 2022, the World Conference saw one of the prominent international delegates from USA, Dr. Mitchell Levy, Chief-Division of Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, Department of Medicine & Professor of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University; Medical Director of Medical Intensive Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr Mitchell Levy, the Past President of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (2009), is a founding member (2002), and member of the Executive Committee of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign, a global initiative to improve the care of patients with severe sepsis. He delivered and chaired sessions on the topics—‘Surviving Sepsis Campaign—The Journey so far’ & ‘Multi-Organ failure in Sepsis-Major Appropriate Interventions to Best Outcome’ that were quite informative.
