WORKSHOP ON ‘NON-SURGICAL FACIAL THREAD LIFT’ AT SRMS IMS, BAREILLY

The Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly took great pleasure in conducting hands on live workshop on ‘Non Surgical Facial Thread Lift’ on November 02, 2022 at SRMS IMS for facial rejuvenation.
The purpose of the workshop was to understand the non-surgical way of facial thread lifting that would help achieve a beautiful, youthful and healthy-looking face. However, the workshop proved helpful to the postgraduates and practicing dermatology, to enhance their knowledge, and keep abreast with latest developments in non-surgical skills for tightening the skin to look younger. This workshop was enriching and fruitful in introducing the new non surgical procedures for skin rejuvenation in the Department of Dermatology, SRMSIMS Bareilly, and in and around Rohilkhand region.
SPECIALISED CREATIVITY
The Guest Speaker and Resource Faculty for the workshop was Dr Indu Ballani, a renowned Consultant Dermatologist and Cosmetologist from Delhi and NCR region, and a qualified MD in Dermatology from Patna Medical College. Known for her specialization in advanced medical and non-surgical cosmetic treatments, Dr Indu Ballani is a gold medalist dermatologist, whose career spans nearly two decades and is guided by her passion for cosmetic procedures that enhance the appearance and wellbeing of both women and men. Her vast knowledge and hands on experience with a range of techniques has been acquired from experts in several countries. In addition to her own practice, Dr Ballani also trains budding dermatologists in new techniques such as PRP and thread face lifts. She has also achieved the distinction of being recognized by the multinational drug company, Allergan as an experienced and meticulous injector. Apart from being a consultant at leading skin clinics across the city, Dr Ballani also headed the dermatology division at Mantra Vedic spa before making the decision to focus exclusively on her own practice. Currently, Dr Indu Ballani is serving as a Consultant Dermatologist at BL Kapoor Hospital, New Delhi.
GRACIOUS PRESENCE
The workshop was attended by various Post-Graduate students from Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, and Rajshree Medical College, Bareilly. The resource faculties for the workshop were Professor Dr Supriya Agarwal from Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital Bareilly, as well as practicing Senior Dermatologist Dr Nitin Mishra. In addition to this, total 30 doctors had done hands on training during the workshop. The members of the Organizing Committee were also the part of workshop, which included Chief Patron, Shri Dev Murti; Patron Aditya Murti and Professor Dr SB Gupta; Organizing Chairperson, Professor Dr Pratik Gahalaut; Organizing Secretary Professor Dr MK Rastogi; Treasurer Dr Amar Singh; Workshop-Coordinator Dr Mriganka Mehra, along with several members of the Advisory Board.
