In an inspiring showcase of academic excellence, TWO students of MMRIT(M.Sc in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology) , Batch 2021 from SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES (SRMS IPS), Bareilly — NITISH VERMA &VIRENDRA KUMAR MAURYA have presented their groundbreaking research findings, highlighting institute’s commitment to nurturing future healthcare leaders.
Speaking about his dissertation titled ‘Assessment of Accuracy of Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography in Choledocholithiasis: A Cross-Sectional Study’, NITISH VERMA says, “The project aims to define TE & TR differences in MRCP sequences, assess breath-hold sequences & evaluate age group affected by choledocholithiasis. It took me6 months with a prevalence rate of 40 patients & after analyzing, age group of 40-60 years was found more prone to choledocholithiasis & bile diseases. I would thank Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal, IPS & Dr Saurabh Pantola, Coordinator& Assistant Professor , Department of Radiodiagnosis at SRMS IMS for their supervision. All this was possible with institute’s robust curriculum, combined with hands-on training, thorough preparation & access to state-of-the-art facilities.”
Joining the brigade, Virendra Kumar Maurya with his dissertation on ‘Abdominal DSCT Effectiveness of Contrast Media on the Basis of BMI’ says, “This research project took me 6 months with a prevalence rate of 94 patients with abdominal ranging age-group from 11 to 70+ years, which evaluated patient’s BMI preferred for CECT, assessed the contrast dose with help of BMI & evaluated image quality of CECT abdomen. I’m grateful to Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal, IPS & Dr Saurabh Pantola, Coordinator & Assistant Professor, Department of Radiodiagnosis at SRMS IMS for their constant supervision & guidance on my research insights.”
