National Eye Donation Fortnight, observed annually from August 25 to September 8, serves as a crucial reminder of the life-changing power of eye donation. In celebration of this initiative, the Vibrant Club and students of the Ophthalmology Department at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRMS IPS), Bareilly,, contributed to the cause by crafting captivating and thought-provoking posters.

With the theme ‘I Can See Clearly Now’, this year’s program shed light on the immense impact of corneal donation and transplantation, underscoring the priceless gift of restored vision. The students’ posters vividly portrayed the transformation brought about by eye donation, symbolizing hope and new beginnings for recipients.

The event, meticulously guided by Dr Neelima Mehrotra , Dean UG & Head of Department of Ophthalmology at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences, and Rohitash Gangwar, DSW of SRMS IPS, highlighted the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants. The students were lauded for their creativity and efforts, which successfully spotlighted the significance of eye donation and the far-reaching effects it has on people’s lives.
