Admission Procedure

B.Tech

SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research, Bareilly offers admission to the four-year Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) programme, subject to the following provisions:

  • Admission to the First Year (Fresh Entry): The admission to first year of B. Tech programme is offered as follows:

1.1. Through UPTAC Online Counseling: As per the directives of state government, 85% of the sanctioned intake across all branches is filled on the basis of online counseling conducted by UPTAC which is based on the merit list as declared by JEE Main/CUET-UG.

1.2. Through Management Quota
: The remaining 15% of the total intake, along with vacant or lapsed seats in all branches, is filled through Direct Admission (Management Quota) based on:

  • Merit in 10+2 or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in   
                 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), and
  • A brief objective assessment, as per college norms.
  • Admission to the Second Year (Lateral Entry): The admission to the second year (Lateral Entry) of B. Tech programme is conducted as per the following conditions:

Candidates who have successfully completed:

  •  A three-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks, recognized by any Board of Technical Education (excluding Agriculture Engineering and Biotechnology),

Or

  • A B.Sc. degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from any recognized Indian University with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible for admission directly to the second year of the programme.
BBA

SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research, Bareilly offers admission to the three-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme, subject to the following provisions:

  • Through UPTAC Online Counseling

As per the directives of state government, 85% of the sanctioned intake is filled on the basis of online counseling conducted by UPTAC which is based on the merit list as declared by CUET-UG.

  • Through Management Quota

The remaining 15% of the total intake, along with vacant or lapsed seats is filled through Direct Admission (Management Quota) based on:

  1. Merit in 10+2 or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, and
  2. No grace marks awarded in any subject.
BCA

SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research, Bareilly offers admission to the three-year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programme, subject to the following provisions:

  • Through UPTAC Online Counseling

As per the directives of state government, 85% of the sanctioned intake is filled on the basis of online counseling conducted by UPTAC which is based on the merit list as declared by CUET-UG.

  • Through Management Quota

The remaining 15% of the total intake, along with vacant or lapsed seats is filled through Direct Admission (Management Quota) based on:

  1. Merit in 10+2 or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, and
  2. No grace marks awarded in any subject.
BHMCT

SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research, Bareilly offers admission to the four-year Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) programme, subject to the following provisions:

  • Through UPTAC Online Counseling

85% Seats of total intake allotted according to the merit list of CUET – UG as per State Government directives through online counseling.

  • Through Management Quota

The remaining 15% of the total intake, along with vacant or lapsed seats is filled through Direct Admission (Management Quota) based on:

  1. Merit in 10+2 or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, and
  2. No grace marks awarded in any subject.
