ABOUT THE CYBERHACK
Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security), SRMS College of Engineering Technology & Research Bareilly UP, India is organizing CYBERHACK 2026 a cyber-security based Hackathon Event on 07th -08th September 2026 (Monday and Tuesday). It is a two-day (24-hours nonstop) event with prize money more than ₹51 K.
CyberHack 2026 is a national-level cyber security based intensive, innovation-driven hackathon designed to empower young minds to tackle emerging cyber threats and solve real-world cyber security challenges within a limited time frame. Participants will compete in teams to develop innovative security solutions, analyze vulnerabilities, and defend digital infrastructures. The event provides a platform for aspiring cyber security professionals to demonstrate their skills, collaborate with peers, and strengthen digital systems against cyber threats.
CyberHack 2026 Hackathon – Terms & Conditions
By registering for CyberHack 2026, all participants (“you”, “team members”) agree to abide by the following comprehensive Terms and Conditions. These rules are enforced to ensure a fair, secure, and competitive environment.
1. Eligibility & Team Formation
- All team members must be actively enrolled college students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees.
- Teams must consist of exactly 2 to 3 members. Single-member participation is not allowed.
- Each member must provide a valid College ID, Aadhaar, or standard Government ID along with a duly signed No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their institution/parents.
2. Registration Fees & Payment
- The registration fee is fixed at ₹1,500 per team, payable in a single transaction.
- Accommodation and fooding will be provided at the cost of ₹500/day per participant.
- All registration fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including disqualification, no-shows, or event cancellation due to force majeure.
- Falsification of payment proofs will result in an immediate lifetime ban from all future SRMS CET&R and EC-Council events.
3. Code of Conduct & Anti-Cheat
- Participants must not engage in any unauthorized attacks against the hackathon infrastructure, other teams, or external targets. All hacking must be confined to the designated CTF domains.
- Sharing flags, solutions, or collaborating between competing teams is strictly prohibited.
- WARNING: The use of generative AI tools or AI automation bots to solve CTF challenges or automatically generate scripts is strictly prohibited. Submissions suspected of AI generation will be subjected to rigorous manual review, and confirmed cases will result in immediate disqualification.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike behavior will lead to immediate disqualification and removal from the premises.
4. Intellectual Property & Liability
- Participants retain all intellectual property rights to the custom software/scripts they develop during the event, unless explicitly stated otherwise in a sponsor’s track.
- The organizers (SRMS CET&R, RIF, Thunder Cipher, Cyber Strike) hold no liability for any loss, damage, or theft of personal equipment (laptops, phones, hardware) brought to the venue.
5. Judging & Final Decisions
- The decisions made by the judging panel and the core organizing committee are final and binding.
- The organizers reserve the right to modify, add, or remove any rule or clause at any time, at their sole discretion, without prior notice.
6. Physical Reporting & Admit Ticket
- Make sure to present physically at the venue before 7th September 2026, 8:30 AM.
- Participants must carry an original Government/College ID card along with a printed hardcopy of the final receipt (admit ticket) sent via email at the time of the event.
- A participation certificate will be provided to all registered participants who attend the event.
