Established in 2025, the Department of CSE(Cyber Security) at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology and Research (formerly Known as Shri Ram Murti Smarak Women’s College of Engineering and Technology) is dedicated to deliver high-quality education along with industry-oriented learning in the field of computer science. Following the moto of SRMS Trust “सिद्धि र्भवति कर्मजा”, a Sanskrit phrase that translates to “Success is achieved through effort”, is the guiding principle of the Department of CSE(Cyber Security) to emphasize that hard work and dedicated action lead to success.

Here, at Department of CSE(Cyber Security), our curriculum focuses on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), so our teaching pedagogy goes beyond conventional classroom instructions and relies heavily on imparting practical knowledge to the students. The Department of CSE(Cyber Security) focuses on building skilled professionals capable of defending organizations against rapidly evolving cyber threats. It combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on training to prepare students for real-world challenges in information security.

Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering:

Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering (B.Tech – CSE) is a four-year undergraduate program under the aegis of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Students who complete this course will equips with the knowledge and practical skills needed to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. They also be able to design, implement, and manage secure systems, detect and respond to cyber threats, and contribute effectively to safeguarding digital infrastructure. Additionally, this curriculum combines theoretical understanding with real-world application that helps students to become skilled cyber expert who protect digital systems and handle real-world cyber threats.

The intake for this course is: 30 seats.
