SRMS CET&R cultivates a research-oriented academic environment, especially in Engineering and Life Sciences, by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and scholarly inquiry. A total of 36 research papers were submitted, with 16 recognized for excellence, highlighting the institution’s dedication to impactful research. Patents & Intellectual Property (IP)

A dedicated Patents Cell at SRMS CET&R supports students and faculty in navigating patent filing and IP documentation. Regular awareness drives and training sessions ensure widespread understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)—nurturing a culture of innovation and protecting creative assets. Firming Innovation Protection is possible through:
  • Dedicated Patents Cell- Support in patent filing & documentation and IP awareness programmes for all stakeholders
  • Frequent Workshops & Seminars on IPR literacy

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)

The IIC at SRMS CET&R organises sustainability-centric events aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From entrepreneurship boot camps to renewable energy workshops, these programmes ignite environmental responsibility and solution-focused thinking among young innovators.
