SRMS CETR organized a Trust-level Art Competition

Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology & Research successfully organized a Trust-level Art Competition on March 19th, 2026 from 1:30 PM onwards at the campus premises. The event was conducted under the Verve Club with the theme “Incredible India – Unity in Diversity,” encouraging students to creatively express their ideas through art. The competition aimed to promote imagination, cultural awareness, and spiritual exploration among participants.

The dignitaries present on the occasion included Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust); Dr. Prabhakar Gupta (Principal, SRMS CET); Dr. Anuj Kumar (Director, TDP); Dr. Muthhu Maheshwari (Principal, SRMS College of Nursing), and Dr. Shailesh Saxena, (Dean Academics, CETR). They were accompanied by Ms. Devisha Murti of SRMS Trust, along with the DSW, Heads of various Departments, faculty members, and students, whose presence added dignity and significance to the event. The event was organized to promote artistic and cultural traditions, providing students a platform to connect with India’s diverse heritage and express their creativity and attractive cash prizes were awarded to the winners.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from various SRMS institutions, with around 50 students showcasing their creativity through different artistic techniques based on the theme “Incredible India – Unity in Diversity.” The artworks reflected imagination, cultural understanding, and aesthetic expression.
At the conclusion of the competition, a prize distribution ceremony was held where winners were awarded attractive cash prizes by Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust) and Shri Aditya Murti (Secretary, SRMS Trust) motivating students to excel in their artistic pursuits. Anushka from CET secured the first position, Pratibha Pal from CET clinched the second position and Alina Bee from DHM secured the third place. Additionally, consolation prizes were presented to Vaibhav Kumar and Aastha Rajput from Nursing, for their commendable artistic expressions.
The competition proved to be an enriching and meaningful initiative, providing students with a platform to express themselves, explore their creativity, and celebrate the cultural diversity of India through art.
