SRMS CET & R Bareilly, organized a one- week (28 hours) hands- on workshop

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research, in collaboration with the Value Addition Cell and under the supervision of IIC-SRMSCET & R Bareilly, organized a one- week (28 hours) hands- on workshop on “Data Analytics Fundamentals & Real-World Applications” from November 3 to November 11, 2025. The workshop sessions were conducted from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM which were specifically designed for B.Tech CSE 3rd year students, providing them with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in various domains of data analytics

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Ambrish Gupta from Tech Vision Technologies, Bareilly. The workshop began with the fundamentals of data analytics, including the importance of data-driven decision-making, real-world applications, and the complete analytics lifecycle, enabling them to create clear and meaningful charts for better interpretation.

In the later sessions, the student learned to apply these skills in a real-world dataset case study. The workshop concluded with a Capstone Mini Project and a certification ceremony, where students presented their complete data analytics solutions and received feedback on their work.

A certificate distribution ceremony was held at the end of the workshop. The dignitaries present included Mr. Ambrish Gupta, and Ms. Ritu Gupta from Tech Vision Technologies, Bareilly, Dr. Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, SRMS CET & R), Dr. Manvi Mishra (HOD, CSE), Mr. K. K. Agarwal (DSW, SRMS CET & R) who appreciated the students’ participation and encouraged them to continue enhancing their technical and analytical skills. Their presence motivated the participants and added value to the successful completion of the workshop.
