SRMS IBS, 2nd October, 2022 CELEBRATION

At SRMSIBS, 2nd October,2022 was celebrated as the birth anniversary of father of nation Mahatma Gandhji and our former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri and 34th death anniversary of Late Shri Ram Murti ji- our inspiring soul, a true Gandhian. Shri Ram Murti Ji was a veteran freedom fighter. He took part in all satyagrahs and Quit India Movement launched by A.I.C.C. under the matured and dynamic leadership of Gandhi ji. Shri Ram Murti Ji was a member of U.P. Assembly from 1946 till 1977. In 1977, he represented Bareilly in the Lok Sabha. Ram Murti Ji served as a Minister in the Cabinets of Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant, Dr. Sampoornanad, Shri. C.B.Gupta & Mrs. Sucheta Kriplani for nineteen years and always worked for the development of the state and country. In pursuance of the same patriotic spirit, he donated 30 acres of agricultural land in the “Bhoodan Movement” and it gave the genesis of SRMS Trust.
The day started with the garlanding of the photos of Late Shri Ram Murti ji, Mahatma Gandhi ji, and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri ji followed by a floral tribute, sansthaan geet and beautiful bhajans sung by students of SRMS LRT, SRMS IBS, SRMSBS,SRMS College of Nursing & Paramedical Sciences. Following this a speech was delivered sharing ideas of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji
SRMS Trust distributed a scholarship of Rs 3.5 cores to the deserving students for their extraordinary performance.
From PGDM Batch (2021-23) two students Akriti Agrawal and Nitya Kesharwani bagged scholarship worth Rs. 25000. From BBA 3rd year Batch(2020-23) three students namely Ankit Gupta, Abhishek kumar Singh and Raj Vardhan bagged scholarship worth Rs 5000.From BBA 2nd year Batch(2021-24) ten students Shubham Kishore, Aishwarya Dwivedi, Rahul Raj, Zakir Hussain, Aditi Singh, Mohammad Mohtashim, Garima Shukla ,Tanisha Gupta, Kritika Kumari and Krishna Gupta bagged the scholarship . From SRMS College of Nursing and Paramedical in the ANM & GNM batches three students got scholarship namely Km. Jyoti Radheyshyam Pasi (ANM), Km. Mamta Devi (ANM), and Km. Mahi Vimal (GNM).
Over all it was a very emotional and inspirational day for the entire alma mater of SRMSIBS.
