THE HANDS THAT HEAL, THE HEARTS THAT NEVER GIVE UP: SRMS NURSING COLLEGE CELEBRATES THE TRUE HEROES OF HEALTHCARE

A heartfelt celebration of compassion, resilience, and the unwavering dedication of nurses who continue to stand as the backbone of healthcare…

SRMS College of Nursing, Bareilly, in collaboration with the Caring Hands Club, organized Nurses Day Celebration 2026, honouring the incredible contribution of nursing professionals in strengthening patient care and saving lives every single day.

The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Dr MS Butola (Principal, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences); Guest of Honour Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, SRMS College of Engineering Technology & Research); along with Er Subhash Mehra (Trust Advisor), Dr Muthu Maheshwari (Principal, College of Nursing), Prof Paras (Vice Principal, College of Nursing), Lt Col RP Singh (Medical Superintendent, IMS), Gyan Prakash Sharma (Chief Matron, IMS), faculty members, healthcare staff, and students.

One of the key highlights was the Poster Evaluation Competition, where students beautifully reflected the global theme, “Our Nurses, Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives.” Inspiring addresses, impactful presentations on nursing, cultural performances, felicitations, and an emotional video tribute to nurses and healthcare workers made the celebration even more meaningful.

Adding a proud moment to the occasion, the Best Nurse Award was presented to Ramanjeet Kaur (Staff Nurse, Department of Radiation Oncology, IMS) for her exceptional dedication and service in patient care. The programme was gracefully anchored by Kripa Thomas and Anshima Shukla, B.Sc Nursing students of Batch 2024 and 2022 respectively.

More than a celebration, the event stood as a tribute to every nurse whose care, courage, and compassion continue to make a difference every day!
