‘GANPATI BAPPA MORYA’! SRMS TRUST INSTITUTIONS CELEBRATE GANESH CHATURTHI WITH DEVOTION & DANCE

Ganesh Chaturthi at SRMS Trust Institutions turned into a spectacular confluence of devotion and artistry with a grand Group Dance Competition at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly. With hearts full of faith and feet tapping to energetic rhythms, eight teams from SRMS CET (Engineering, MCA & BCA, MBA & BBA, Pharmacy), SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), SRMS College of Nursing, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), and SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly, delivered breath taking performances blending classical grace, contemporary moves, and festive joy.

The cultural extravaganza began on a divine note with a soulful Ganesh Vandana. Saplings were presented to dignitaries by Pratiksha Singh, Tyro President, and Riya Agarwal, Trust Event Coordinator. Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust, inaugurated the competition by picking chits to decide the order of performances, ensuring fair play.

Every performance echoed the festive spirit of Ganpati, with the audience cheering, clapping, and chanting in unison. The competition concluded with a prize distribution, where Trustee Asha Murti and Richa Murti, Director, SRMS Goodlife Hospital, felicitated the top three winners with trophies and cash prizes of ₹2100, ₹1500, and ₹1000 each. SRMS IPS secured first place, while SRMS CET (Engineering) and SRMS CET (MCA) bagged second and third.

The occasion was graced by Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal CET ; Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS; Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS; Dr Muthu Maheshwari, Principal, College of Nursing; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell; Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics CETR; Dr Amit Kumar Sharma, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy ; Devisha Murti and others.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Rishabh Verma, Tyro Secretary. What lingered was not just the electrifying dances, but a shared sense of community, devotion, and celebration that Ganesh Chaturthi inspires every year.
