WORLD TOURISM DAY at SRMS ENGINEERING & RESEARCH COLLEGE: A FLAVOURFUL JOURNEY OF FOOD, CULTURE & CREATIVITY
The Department of Hotel Management at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly marked World Tourism Day, centered on this year’s UNWTO theme ‘Journey of Flavors – Celebrating Tourism & Hospitality’. A Food & Cultural Showcase was an added highlight, where students presented regional cuisines.
The event saw participation of 100+ students from Bedi International School, Sobtis Public School, Keshalata International School, Sahu Thakurdas Inter College (Dhaura), PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force Station, and SRMS Trust Institutions, Bareilly.
The event was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust), Aditya Murti (Secretary), Trustee Asha Murti, Richa Murti (Director, SRMS Goodlife) & Er Subhash Mehra (Advisor). Special guest Puneet Saxena, GM, Hotel Uberoi Anand, Bareilly, in his address, stressed tourism’s role in cultural exchange & sustainability, urging students to embrace ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’.

The program was coordinated by Sapna Thakur (In-charge, Hotel Management) with Shashwat Sharma, Mukul Sahu & Shraddha Sharma, followed by a vote of thanks from Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics, CETR.
