Some heroes don’t wear capes; they roll up their sleeves!
Marking National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, students and faculty from across SRMS Trust Institutions — SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), SRMS College of Nursing, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET) & SRMS College of Engineering Technology & Research (CETR) came together for a two-day Voluntary Blood Donation Camp (Oct 1–2), turning empathy into action and service into strength.
Coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti & 37th Smriti Diwas of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji — veteran freedom fighter, former UP Minister & ex-Parliamentarian, the initiative truly embodied the Trust’s spirit of humanity, compassion, and selfless giving. Organized by Department of Transfusion Medicine at SRMS IMS, the camp was conducted at SRMS IMS Blood Center & SRMS CET, witnessing an overwhelming response with 110+ donors stepping up to make a life-saving difference.
The event was graced by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust; Aditya Murti, Director Administration; Richa Murti, Director SRMS Goodlife Hospital; Dr RP Singh, MS; Prof Dr Milan Jaiswal, Head, Department of Transfusion Medicine (SRMS IMS); Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal (SRMS CET) & many others. Later, Shri Dev Murti & Aditya Murti felicitated all donors for their noble contribution.
