SRMS TRUST MARKS 37TH SMRITI DIWAS of LATE RAM MURTI JI with TRIBUTES, HONOURS & MILESTONES IN LEARNING…
Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust observed the 37th Smriti Diwas of Late Ram Murti Ji — veteran freedom fighter, former UP Minister & ex-Parliamentarian on October 2, 2025 at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly.
The day began with floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, and Late Ram Murti Ji, followed by flag hoisting across all SRMS Institutions by Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust) and Aditya Murti (Trust Secretary). To encourage academic excellence, scholarships worth ₹3.5 crore (ranging from ₹20,000–₹2,25,000) were awarded to 216 meritorious students. The prestigious Ram Murti Pratibha Alankaran was conferred on Prof SM Bose (Sr Prof & Ex-HOD, Surgery, PGI Chandigarh); Prof Lovely Sharma (VC, Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh); Dr Neelam Gupta (Founder-President, AROH Foundation); Er Manish Kumar (Head–Risk & Compliances, Infosys Ltd.), & climate activist Karnav Rastogi for their exceptional contributions in their respective fields. The day felicitated winners of National Debate & Story Writing Competitions. A two-day voluntary blood donation camp was conducted by Department of Transfusion Medicine (SRMS IMS).
