Winter chills, roaring cheers, and young dreams taking center stage, as Bareilly witnesses a power-packed start to the prestigious COOCH BEHAR TROPHY U-19 (BCCI Domestic Trophy) at the iconic SRMS Cricket Stadium today, and the energy was absolutely electric!
Hosted at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology, in association with Bareilly Cricket Association (BCA) and UPCA, this multi-day clash (Dec 16–19) brings India’s next generation of cricket stars into the spotlight.
The day began with a vibrant Opening Ceremony & a warm floral welcome to the teams amid loud applause, balloons soaring into the sky, and an atmosphere that screamed big-match vibes. The ceremony was graced by Shri Ajay Kumar Sahni, IPS (DIG, Bareilly Zone), in the august presence of Shri Dev Murti (Founder & Managing Trustee, SRMS Trust), Aditya Murti (Patron, BCA & Secretary SRMS Trust), Sarfaraz Wali Khan (President BCA), Sitaram Saxena (Secretary BCA), Dr Prabhakar Gupta (Principal, SRMS CET); OP Kohli (Sr Joint Secretary BCA); Shahzad Ali (Treasurer BCA); Richa Murti (Director SRMS Goodlife Hospital) along with who’s who of the city. Packed stands and deafening cheers from enthusiastic school students across Bareilly, turned the match into a true festival of cricket.
