‘AAMOD 2026’ SPORTS FEST at SRMS ENGINEERING CAMPUS KICKS OFF AS A FULL-BLOWN POWER PLAY!

200+ athletes. Three cities. One football ground that absolutely did not see this coming…

The 2-day Annual Sports Fest ‘AAMOD 2026’ (March 19-20, 2026) of SRMS Trust Institutions hit the Football Ground of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly today like a storm, and it delivered on every single promise. Organized by Tyro Club, the fest brought together teams from Bareilly, Lucknow, and Unnao for two days of sport, sweat, and serious bragging rights.

The curtain rose with a ceremony that set the tone just right. Tyro Club President Swastik kicked things off with a welcome address, before Richa Murti, Director, SRMS Goodlife Hospital, officially declared AAMOD 2026 open, reminding everyone that sport isn’t just about winning, it’s about discipline, character, and growth in the presence of Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor. The Mashaal was lit, balloons were released, and the torch relay passed, and just like that, the games were on. Tyro Club Secretary Prachi Sharma wrapped the ceremony with a vote of thanks before the real action took over.

What followed was pure adrenaline! Day-1 featured Football, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis and Athletic qualifiers including Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw. Also spotted in the crowd, showing up for the athletes: Devisha Murti, Dr Prabhakar Gupta (Principal, CET), Dr Anuj Kumar (Director, TDP Cell), Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean, CETR), Dr Muthu Maheshwari (Principal, Nursing College), and Dr Jaspreet Kaur (Principal, IAHS), because when AAMOD shows up, everyone shows up.

Well, if Day 1 was this explosive, Day 2 promises to take it to the next level, where champions get made!
