The Shri Ram Murti Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament 2026 (April 15–25) kicked off today at the SRMS Cricket Stadium (at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly) and DAY 1 set the tone for a power-packed 10-day showdown.

The inaugural ceremony witnessed the gracious presence of Devansh Murti, welcomed by Dr Ashish Kumar (Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering), alongside Dr Prabhakar Gupta (Principal, CET), Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, CETR), Shankar Pal (Sports In-charge) and Dr Nitin Saxena (Sports Officer). From the trophy unveiling to player introductions and the ceremonial toss, everything pointed to one thing: game on!

Opening Match Highlights:
Mukund International School (111/10) vs Sacred Hearts (112/6): Mukund International won the toss and chose to bat first, but it was Sacred Hearts who clinched the opening win in style and won by 4 wickets.
Up next, the action continued with Mission Academy (Baheri) vs GRM School (Bareilly), wherein GRM won the toss, chose to bat first, but victory was clinched by Mission Academy.
