The Uttar Pradesh Women’s Table Tennis Team has scripted a landmark chapter by winning the Bronze Medal at 87th Senior National & Inter-State Table Tennis Championship 2025, the first-ever national medal in the history of Uttar Pradesh Table Tennis Association (UPTTA).
The trailblazing squad featuring Aarti Chaudhary, Avani Tripathi, Disha (Ghaziabad), Ambika Gupta (Prayagraj), and Elina Mishra (Lucknow) has raised the bar for women’s table tennis in the state and inspired a new generation of aspiring paddlers.
What made this achievement even more special was their presence at 13th Shri Ram Murti Memorial 1st UP State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2026 hosted at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly. The champions not only participated in the prestigious championship but also delivered impressive performances, won multiple titles across categories, interacted with fellow players, and experienced the competitive spirit and sporting hospitality that define the SRMS tournament.
- Aarti Chaudhary emerged as Women’s (Senior Category) Champion
- Ambika Gupta finished as the Women’s (Senior Category) Runner-Up
- Disha secured a Semi-Final finish in the Women’s (Senior Category)
- Avani Tripathi reached the Quarter-Finals in both Women’s (Senior Category) and Youth Girls (U-19) events
- Elina Mishra advanced to the Quarter-Finals in the Women’s (Senior Category)
In recognition of their historic contribution to Uttar Pradesh table tennis, the entire team was felicitated by Aditya Murti, SRMS Trust Secretary, amidst applause from players, coaches, officials, and spectators.
