On account of 34th Death Anniversary of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji, a veteran Freedom Fighter, former Minister and Parliamentarian, a grand ‘ShradhanjaliSamaroh’ was organized at SRMS College of Engineering and Technology on October 2, 2022, which was a great opportunity for everyone to remember the unconditional efforts, immense struggle, and contribution of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji in nation building through community service and social welfare.
The grand ceremony kicked-off with remembering Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi and Former Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversary. This was followed by paying floral tribute to veteran freedom fighter, Shri Ram Murti Ji.
During the event, the flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Chairman of SRMS Trust, Dev Murti Ji, and ceremonial lamp-lighting by Shahzil Islam, MLA Bhojipurablock, and Aditya Murti, Director Administration, SRMS Trustand Trust Secretary. The master of the ceremony was Dr Anuj Kumar, Director at Training, Development and Placement Cell, SRMS Engineering Institution, who kept the guests and audience completely engrossed with his thoughtful words and motivational couplets. He threw light on the life journey of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji and his immense contribution, sacrifices, and selfless service in nation building, which was truly inspiring for everyone present at the event.
The ceremony also saw melodious musical performance by students of SRMS Riddhima, a Centre of Performing and Fine Arts that showcased the classical musical heritage.
