Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology & Research (SRMS CETR), Bareilly recently conducted an insightful Alumni Talk, held in an online mode, which was delivered by B Tech (CS) Alumnus VARSHA SAXENA of Batch 2014, currently working as an Assistant Manager at Genpact, Bangalore, who spoke on the topic ‘From Dreams to Reality: How Engineering Graduates Can Meet Industry Expectations Through Consistent Action’.
The Alumni talk aimed at equipping B Tech first & final year students with practical advice on aligning their skills with industry demands. The enlightening session was equally informative & inspiring, wherein Varsha Saxena highlighted the differences between product-based & service-based companies, using examples like Microsoft & TCS to illustrate their distinct business models. She further discussed the wide scope of IT technologies across various industries, emphasizing the importance of staying ahead with trending technologies of 2024 like Artificial Intelligence, Python, Blockchain & Cloud Services.
The session not only bridged the gap between academia and professional world but also inspired students to transform their dreams into reality, and gave a candid understanding to SRMS students on how to achieve their goals with confidence & determination.
