HACKATHON 3.0 AT SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE ENTERS ITS DAY-2 WITH TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE & CUTTING-EDGE IDEAS

In a thrilling display of innovation, HACKATHON 3.0 — a 36-hour innovation marathon (March 27-29, 2025)—continues with intense brainstorming session on its Day-2 at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, under the mentorship of the Institution’s Innovation Council and TechEdge Cell. Focused on ‘Sustainable and Circular Solutions for Disaster Management’, the event brought together 46 teams from several institutions across India, competing fiercely for cash prizes worth Rs 1 Lakh. The exciting Day-2 saw prototype development in full swing, amidst rigorous brainstorming, teamwork, and expert mentoring to refine innovative solutions.

However, 46 teams participating across India includes SRMS CET, Bareilly; SRMS CETR, Bareilly; MIT, Moradabad; CMR CET, Hyderabad; NPR College of Engineering & Technology, Tamil Nadu; Rathinam Technical Campus, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu; KIT, Kanpur; RMD Engineering College, Chennai; Bansal IET, Lucknow; Gyan Ganga College of Technology, Jabalpur; AIMT, Lucknow; IPS Academy, Indore; and Rakshpal Bahadur College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly.

Let’s hear from Dr Saty Dev, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SRMS CET, who highlighted the significance of hackathon as a platform for innovators to develop real-world solutions. Adding further, Team Aadhithi Ootru (A. Janagan, AS Janarthanan, K. Vimal Kumar) from NPR College of Engineering & Technology, Tamil Nadu, and Team Tech Titans (Shubh Pandey, Lakshya Loungani, Ritika Jha & Nandini Agarwal) from SRMS CET reflected on their journey of problem-solving, teamwork, and technical enhancement during the competition.
