SRMS CETR’s HAND HOLDING INITIATIVE: ALUMNI GUIDING THE NEXT GENERATION

SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR) hosted its Handle Holding Initiative recently, where distinguished Alumni—Harshit Saxena, CS, 2017 Batch (Senior member at Innobit Systems, Noida), Aanchal Rastogi, CS, 2017 Batch (Project Engineer at Wipro, Greater Noida), and Kartik Pant CS 2018 Batch (Senior Consultant at Ultra Genic Research & Technologies) returned to campus as speakers to mentor and inspire budding engineers, while strengthening alumni-student bonds.

The event began with lamp lighting & Saraswati Vandana, followed by a sapling presentation as a symbol of growth and gratitude. Thereafter, Alumni speakers shared their journeys from campus to corporate, offering insights on placements, skill development, and career exploration. Harshit Saxena engaged the audience with college memories and shared innovative tech solutions and projects at Innobit Systems. Aanchal Rastogi gave practical insights into placements and challenges in her campus-to-corporate journey at Wipro. Kartik Pant added depth with a session on skill development, career opportunities in research and consulting, and practical solutions for students transitioning to professional roles.

Students engaged in an interactive doubt-clearing session, gaining first-hand guidance on academics, career paths, and industry trends. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and memento presentation by Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics & Chief Proctor, honoring the alumni for their valuable contribution.
