AI in ACTION! SRMS ENGINEERING & RESEARCH COLLEGE IGNITES YOUNG MINDS with STUDENT DEVELOPER INITIATIVE on GENERATIVE AI & RAG
Blending innovation with learning, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly, in collaboration with Edunet Foundation and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), hosted an engaging Student Developer Initiative (SDI) under the IBM Skills Build for Academia Program.
The session, led by Aman Shrivastava, AI & ML Instructor, opened students’ minds to the fascinating world of Generative AI and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), while highlighting the crucial aspect of AI ethics in today’s rapidly evolving tech landscape. Students dived into meaningful discussions, explored real-world AI applications, and shared thought-provoking ideas that reflected their growing curiosity and technical insight. Those who successfully completed the session were also awarded IBM Certificates, marking a proud step in their learning journey.
The event concluded with a memento presentation to the guest by Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, CETR), in the presence of Dr Manvi Mishra (Head, CSE), Er KK Agarwal (DSW), and faculty members, celebrating a day where curiosity met code and learning met leadership.
