DEPARTMENT OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT AT SRMS ENGINEERING & RESEARCH COLLEGE SHOWCASES BAKING SKILLS IN A GRAND TWO-DAY WORKSHOP!

From Classroom to Kitchen: Shaping Future Hospitality Careers…

The Department of Hotel Management at SRMS College of Engineering Technology & Research (CET&R), Bareilly hosted a two-day Bakery Workshop recently, giving students a hands-on, creative and delicious taste of the hospitality industry.

Led by bakery Chef Luvkush from Hotel Utopian Luxe, Lucknow, the workshop introduced students to modern baking techniques, professional presentation, and real-world kitchen standards. From Red Velvet, Butterscotch, Blueberry and Black Forest cakes to pastries (Alaska and Permed pastry), muffins, donuts, cupcakes and breakfast bakes, students whipped up an impressive spread while learning the art behind it. The event was encouraged by the gracious presence of Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust), along with Dr Anuj Kumar (Director, TDP Cell) and Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, SRMS CET&R), who motivated students to keep pushing their culinary boundaries.

More than just baking, the workshop was about skill, creativity, confidence, and industry readiness as key ingredients for a successful career in hospitality.
