On the occasion of National Science Day, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CET&R), Bareilly in collaboration with the Value Addition Cell and under the guidance of Institution’s Innovation Council, hosted an engaging research-oriented webinar titled “Celebrating the Spirit of Science” for B Tech (all years) and BCA (First Year) students.
The session brought together inspiring voices from academia and industry including Dr Sarita Khandka (HOD, Physics Department, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences); Dr Akash Singh (Assistant Professor at DU), and Harsh Mishra (Member of Technical staff at Salesforce), who shared powerful insights on scientific research, Artificial Intelligence, and cutting-edge technological advancements shaping our world today. From understanding how Physics and AI solve real-world challenges to encouraging students to think like innovators and researchers, the session sparked meaningful conversations and fresh perspectives among young minds.
With a ceremonial lamp-lighting, soulful Saraswati Vandana, and inspiring discussions, the event truly celebrated the power of science to question, explore, and transform the future. Er Subhash Mehra (Trust Advisor); Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, CETR) & HODs along with other respected faculty members were spotted at the celebration. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by KK Agarwal (DSW).
