CELEBRATING WOMEN WHO RISE, LEAD & INSPIRE at SRMS ENGINEERING & RESEARCH COLLEGE
On International Women’s Day, the Women Cell of SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research celebrated the spirit of strength, equality, and empowerment, highlighting the importance of dignity and opportunities for women in every sphere of life, based on the theme ‘Women Empowerment’.
The program began with a ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana, and was graced by Dr Bindu Garg (Dean UG, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences), Dr Jaspreet Kaur (Principal, SRMS Institute of Allied & Healthcare Sciences), and Dr Ritu Singh (Vice Principal, SRMS CET) along with HODs and faculty members.
Sharing their thoughts, the speakers highlighted how education, confidence, and equal opportunities are key to empowering women and shaping a more inclusive future. A special documentary on women’s empowerment was also screened, showcasing the struggles, achievements, and inspiring journeys of women who continue to break barriers and lead change.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Sapna Thakur (member of Women Cell & Assistant Professor, BHMCT), celebrating the collective commitment towards building a future where women rise and thrive.
