What happens when a simple towel meets creativity, precision and imagination? At the Department of Hotel Management at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CET&R), Bareilly, it becomes a gallery of 52 unique towel origami designs!
Under the theme “One Towel, One Ruff, A Touch of Magic,” the creative, skill-oriented towel art gallery cum workshop, coordinated by Sapna Thakur, Faculty Coordinator, showcased students’ artistic talent and hospitality skills, which was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust in the presence of Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal, SRMS CET & CETR; Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics, SRMS CETR.
From Shivling Art, Swan, Elephant, Panda, Peacock, Monkey, Dog, Cat, Crocodile, Snake, Octopus, Dinosaur, Owl, Butterfly, Lotus, Bear, Cow, Scorpion, Starfish, Dolphin, Mouse, Donkey, Mermaid, Crab, Bunny, Koala, Jellyfish, Stingray, Snail, Small Bird and many more, students transformed ordinary towels into imaginative creations.
The gallery also featured hospitality-inspired presentations including Luxury Bed Towel Display, Bathrobe, Towel Rose, Decorative Heart, Fan, Baby Swan, Guest Welcome Amenity, Boat, Teddy Bear, Birthday Cake, Christmas Tree and Happy Towel Display, along with special creations such as Lord Ganesha, Om Swastiastu, Candle with Stand, Shark, Mermaid, Peacock, Elephant and Panda.
