EUREKA! SRMS ENGINEERING STUDENTS TAKE THEIR STARTUP PITCHES TO THE NEXT LEVEL
What starts as an idea on paper can sometimes become a solution that makes a real difference. At SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly, students got the opportunity to put that belief into action at EUREKA! Pitching Competition 2026, as part of the National Entrepreneurship Challenge (NEC) by E-Cell, IIT Bombay.
Built around the theme “Ideas Today, Impact Tomorrow,” the competition brought together 17 student teams from different departments, pitching ideas across technology, sustainability, healthcare and social impact. With just 2 minutes to pitch and 3 minutes for Q&A, students had to put their ideas, thinking and entrepreneurial spirit to the test, and they did it with plenty of enthusiasm. The ideas were evaluated by Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, CETR), Dr Ravindra Kumar (HOD, Department of ME), Dr Satya Dev (Associate Professor, ME) and Dr Avatar Singh (Associate Professor, ECE).
The event was graced by Dr Prabhakar Gupta (Principal, SRMS CET); Dr Ritu Singh (Vice Principal); and Dr Sourabh Gupta (DSW), along with HODs, faculty members and students. And now, three teams from SRMS CET are taking their ideas forward to the Zonal Round:

- Team ECO BRIQ
- Team Neo phyte
