The 153rd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma GandhiJi, 118th Birth Anniversary of Shri LalBahadurShastriJi and 34th Memorial ceremony of True Gandhian and a veteran freedom fighter, Shri Ram MurtiJi was celebrated on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October at SRMS CETR’s main campus ground from 9:45 A.M. onwards.Principal SRMS CETR. Prof. (Dr.) L.S Maurya, Principal College of Nursing. Dr. RintuChaturvedi, Director College of Law Dr. Naseem Akhtar, HODs of various departments, Chief Proctor, faculties, staff members and all the students were present to cherish the event.
The Event began with introduction to the event by MoCTushar Gupta.Then, the garlanding to the divine souls was done by guest of honor Trust Advisor Er. SubhashMehra sir.After this, Er. SubhashMehra sir along with other dignitaries hoisted the Indian National Flag followed by national anthem.The event also included singing of two melancholic bhajans by SRMS CETR and Nursing students.
After that, VERVE’s President, Ms. Tanisha Saxena proposed the vote of thanks to everyone and they were asked to head towards Centennial Auditorium, SRMS CET for ShraddhanjaliSamaroh and Blood Donation Camp at SRMS CET’s MBA Hall.
