INSPIRING VISIONARIES: SRMS ENGINEERING & RESEARCH COLLEGE HOSTS ‘RASHTRA PRATHAM’ PODCAST TO IGNITE ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT AMONG STUDENTS
In an effort to foster innovation-driven thinking and leadership among young minds, SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly recently hosted a powerful online podcast session titled ‘Rashtra Pratham – Voices That Shape the Nation’, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Held under the guidance of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-CETR), the event drew enthusiastic participation from B Tech and BHMCT students, alongside faculty members. The session is part of a larger initiative, which also includes the podcast series ‘Celebrating Failures’, both designed to cultivate resilience, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset by sharing authentic stories of challenges, breakthroughs, and growth.
The inaugural episode of ‘Rashtra Pratham’ featured Ashish Chauhan, MD & CEO of National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), who engaged the audience with compelling insights on perseverance, ethical leadership, and the transformative power of innovation. In conversation with Dr Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman, AICTE & Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Ashish Chauhan recounted his journey of overcoming adversity and steering NSE towards new heights through strategic thinking and bold reforms.
He emphasized the critical need for adaptability, continuous learning, and a solution-oriented approach in the fast-evolving landscape of finance and technology. “Failures aren’t dead ends; they’re detours to a greater outcome,” he noted, urging students to embrace discomfort as part of their growth journey.
However, by bringing such thought leaders to the forefront, SRMS CETR continues to inspire its students to dream big, stay curious, and lead with purpose.
