SHRI RAM MURTI MEMORIAL T-20 PRIZE MONEY CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2024 [affiliated to Bareilly Cricket Association(BCA)], held from 8th -18th March, 2024 at SRMS Cricket Academy (SRMS Cricket Stadium, CET campus) culminated today with an epic GRAND FINALE showdown between HALDWANI CRICKETERS & SAI CRICKET ACADEMY.
Amidst fervent display of sportsmanship, HALDWANI CRICKETERS (109/5 in 15.4 overs) showed their mettle by clinching victory against SAI CRICKET ACADEMY (103/9 in 20 overs) by 5 wickets in a battle for glory, receiving Rs 51,000 cash prize as the WINNER of the Tournament. However, Sai Cricket Academy—the Runners-up of the tournament was felicitated with cash prize of Rs 31,000.
In an electrifying showdown, ARUSH from Haldwani Cricketers shone brightly, earning both the prestigious MAN OF THE SERIES & MAN OF THE MATCH titles, along with well-deserved winning amount of Rs 5,100 (Man of the Series) & Rs 1,100 (Man of the Match) for his stellar performance, wherein he grabbed 12 wickets &scored 89 runs in entire tournament.
However, the 10-day long tournament witnessed players taking 266 wickets, scoring 5,536 Runs, making 3 Centuries & 19 Half-Centuries, along with hitting 167 Sixes & 553 Boundaries (4s).
