Fun trip to Kullu Manali

Day 2

On 30 January, students reached Manali, where they were welcomed with snow. The stay was at Hotel Krisa Grand Resort, which is situated on the banks of the Beas river and provides exquisite view of snow-covered mountains. Students visited Mall Road, which is famous for food and clothing. Later they went to Hidimba Devi temple to offer prayers. They also visited Van Vihar, where they witnessed the elegance of nature. On the way back to the Mall Road, they experienced snowfall. After the long journey, it was a day of fun and excitement for students.

Day 3

On 31st January 2019, the third day of the industrial trip became one the memorable days of the lives of students.
The Day 3 journey of the students started at 9:00 am in the morning from Manali to Solang Valley. The journey from the narrow roads and fascinating mountainous beauty was full of thrill and excitement. After 1 hour of the exciting journey, the students reached near Solang where they equipped themselves with special clothes to bear snow and -10’C temperature at Solang. The distance from the road to Solang was covered by students on feet. After 4 km of walk through the snow, they reached Solang Valley. Solang valley is also known as the ‘Snow Valley,’ which is famous for trecking and snow sports like trecking, skiing. For everybody, it became one of the best memorable days of their lives which exhilarated them and gave them a lifetime experience.

Day 4

On 1 February, Day 4 of the industrial trip, students visited Kullu, which is famous for river rafting, paragliding, and other adventure sports. Students left the hotel at 9.30 am in high spirits. Reaching Kullu, the first thing that they engaged in was river rafting on the fast-flowing Beas. Later, they went for paragliding, aided by expert instructors. To be able to soar high up in the sky like an eagle was something worth all the effort! Simply put, the experience was beyond the wildest imagination of all the participating students. At the close of the day, students made their way back to the hotel, where more excitement was waiting for them. Bonfire and the presence of the DJ added to the fun and entertainment. It was indeed a memorable day which saw students rafting on the river Beas and gliding through the air with the wind whistling by their ears. Surely, a day to remember in times to come.
