In a spectacular display of agility and teamwork, students from various schools in Unnao came together to participate in the most-awaited Inter-School Kho-Kho event that unfolded at SRMS IBS, Unnao on 4th November 2023. The event, organized by Urja Sports club of SRMS IBS, served as a testament to the power of sports in uniting the education landscape. It brought together young athletes, coaches, teachers, and enthusiastic spectators, creating an electric atmosphere filled with cheers and camaraderie. Initiating the proceedings, the event started with lamp-lighting and reverence to Maa Saraswati by Respected Dean and Event Coordinators of SRMS IBS and Sports Faculty from the participating Schools. This was further followed by the Sansthan Geet sung by SRMS IBS students.


The competition witnessed remarkable Kho-Kho skills on display, with teams showcasing their speed, agility, and strategic manoeuvres. The players left no stone unturned, battling it out in the spirit of true sportsmanship.
After fierce battles on the Kho-Kho field, the top teams emerged victorious. In Boys category, Sir Syed Public School secured the first position, SRMS IBS stood as the runners-up, Dr. Radha Krishnan Vidya Mandir School clinched the third spot, and Saraswati Vidya Mandir got fourth position. In Girls Category, the Team from Sir Syed Public School again dominated the team of Saraswati Vidya Mandir  and snatched the first position with a decent margin. Dr. Radha Krishnan Vidya Mandir School clinched the third spot, and SRMS IBS got the fourth position.

The participants were felicitated with trophies, medals and cash prizes by Respected Director, SRMS IBS, Prof. Shyamal Gupta. The event drew an impressive crowd of students, teachers, and parents who cheered on their favourite teams, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event. The event ended on a positive note and finely captured the uniting power of  games and sports.
