The students of SRMS IBS’s PGDM Program visited Superhouse Group, a multi-unit and multi-product conglomerate with brand leadership in the field of footwear manufacturing and exports.
The students gained valuable insights into the leather industry,specifically aspects related to manufacturing and exports of leather products like footwear, riding products, safety products and other leather accessories.
Mr. Zeeshan, Deputy General Manger – Marketing, Superhouse Group briefed the students about functioning of the unit right from procurement of raw material for leather processing to the sale of finished products in domestic as well as international markets. The opportunity to witness live manufacturing of products like Shoes, Bags, Garments etc. was an enlightening one for the students.
The executives of the company also explained to the students the exhaustive documentation and other government regulatory processes required to exports the products to their clients spread across the globe.
The students appreciated the practical learnings they gained from the visit.
