On August 12, 2021 the students of PGDM, BBA & B.Com (Hons.) of SRMSIBS got the opportunity to be a part of CII Young Indians Youth Conclave 2021 jointly organized by Lucknow Chapter of CII and Techno Group of Institutions. The students got a lucrative opportunity to hear words of wisdom from the industry experts.
The essence of this conclave was to sustain and accelerate the engagement of Youth in scripting the future of our country. As a movement of youth, CII’s Young Indian has been playing a leading role in building a platform for youth engagement across Nation Building, Youth Leadership and Thought Leadership, through its 3600 + members under the age group of 45 from across its 55 city chapters across the country.
The first session was deliberated by renowned speaker Dr. Amrita Dass. She shared her insights on Masterclass, emphasizing upon the future of education wherein she said that the future is absolutely digitally driven and she also talked about the inclusion of humanities into the Artificial Intelligence.
The session was deliberated by Dr. Rashmi Soni, Associate Professor, and JNPG College Lucknow. She talked about the values like integrity and persistence in life.
The third and the final session was delivered by the Mr. Kiron Chopra- a qualified rubber technologist who shared his expertise regarding the future of e-vehicle on which he organized the board room simulation activity for the management scholars. The students were asked to share the views by simulating that how they can develop the future of vehicles through brainstorming and role playing the roles of various board members like CEO, COO, CFO, CTO etc.
It was indeed a great experience for the students to participate in such a wonderful conclave as participation in such events help in fostering skills like self- confidence, leadership, and team work.
