Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) College of Nursing recently conducted an Orientation Programme for GNM & ANM students of Batch 2024, which was orchestrated to acquaint the students with the institute, campus facilities, faculty members, and their forthcoming roles & responsibilities.
The orientation session began with an inspirational introduction by MOC’s of the ceremony — SimranJeet Kaur & Rahim Khan. This was followed by a motivational address by Er Shubhash Mehra, Trust Advisor & Lt. Col. Aleyamma VG Chief Matron, wherein they encouraged the new entrants to embrace learning with passion & resilience. Thereafter, Riya, President of Caring Hands Club, gave a welcome speech, while, Heena Praveen, PG Tutor elaborated upon the objectives & significance of orientation that plays a pivotal role in shaping the students’ journey ahead.
Towards the end, Bavita Thapa, Secretary of Caring Hands Club delivered a vote of thanks in the presence of Dr Muthu Maheshwari, Principal SRMS Nursing College; Professor Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal, SRMS College of Nursing; Joyce Wilson, Matron, SRMS IMS; Mamta Singh, Assistant Nursing Superintendent & several other dignitaries.
