Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) College of Nursing, Bareilly marked ‘World Rabies Day’ recently with incredible event, showcasing the dedication of Nursing students to raising awareness about rabies prevention and treatment through an engaging seminar, role-play, and informative presentations.
The seminar brought together experts in the field to enlighten us about the importance of rabies prevention, and our students’ role-play demonstrated practical skills in handling potential rabies cases. It was both educational and entertaining!
The event was hosted well by Gitanjali Gangwar & Priya Kumari of B Sc Nursing, Semester-IV. The engaging seminar and role play on ‘World Rabies Day’ was organized by the Department of Pediatrics, SRMS Hospital, under the guidance of Harshita Harbola, JR-1, Department of Pediatrics. The informative presentation on the World Rabies Day was given by the students of B Sc Nursing Semester-II that highlighted the significance of vaccination, proper animal care, and role of healthcare professionals in combating rabies, along with a role play by BSc Nursing students of Semester-I, which proved to be quite valuable to the Nursing freshers.
Towards the end of the event, Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal, SRMS College of Nursing addressed the gathering and appreciated the participants for their hard work and efforts, and also encouraged them for similar performances in near future. Overall, SRMS College of Nursing spread the word about rabies prevention, creating a safer world for both humans and animals!
