Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Nursing, Bareilly, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami with great devotion, embracing the arrival of spring and honoring the embodiment of knowledge, music &art. The celebration commenced with Puja, during which all rituals were meticulously performed by the college priest. He led the mantras and elucidated the mythology behind the celebration of Basant Panchami, highlighting the significance ofSaraswati Puja in the lives of students.
The ceremony continued with enchanting melodies of bhajans sung by cultural members of Caring Hands Club, along with BSc Nursing & GNM students that filled the atmosphere with serenity.However, the puja concluded with‘arti’, whereineveryone took the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. This wasfollowed by the distribution of Prasad.
Basant Panchami celebration was graced by Dr Muthu Maheshwari, Principal, SRMS College of Nursing; Professor Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal, SRMS College of Nursing along with heads of departments, faculty members & students.
