SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK COLLEGE OF NURSING CELEBRATES WORLD HEALTH DAY WITH CAPTIVATING ROLE-PLAY & REEL MAKING CONTEST!

Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) College of Nursing, Bareilly recently marked World Health Day with a series of interactive event scentered on this year’s theme ‘My Health, My Right’, wherein students of BSc Nursing, GNM & ANM participated enthusiastically. The event aimed to raise awareness regarding global health issues & promote healthier living for individuals & communities worldwide.

The health day observance began with an enlightening presentation based on this year’s theme that was delivered by BSc Nursing students of Batch 2020— Rupinder Kaur, Harneet Kaur & Shraddha. Following this, a captivating Role Play was staged by GNM, ANM & BSc Nursing students, which art fully depicted the importance of health in our life. However, the whole act displayed various aspects of life in rural & urban areas, emphasizing physical, mental &social well-being. Reel Competition was an added highlight of the day, wherein volunteers created reels for different social media platforms on health in today’s hectic schedule. Later, the winners of Reel making competition were announced, wherein BSc Nursing students of Batch 2023— Abhishek Verma & Anushka Gupta clinched first & second position respectively, while Bhavana Kumar & Muskan Sahu stood third.

Towards the end, Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal, SRMS College of Nursing delivered an informative address on building a healthier world. The program was well hosted by BSc Nursing students Rahim (Batch 2021) & Vedika (Batch 2023).
