SRMS COLLEGE OF NURSING CONDUCTED A TRANSFORMATIVE WORKSHOP ONPOWER OF METHODOLOGY & BIOSTATISTICS

SRMS College of Nursing, Bareilly in collaboration with Institute of Applied Statistics, Kanpur under Dr Padam Singh Research & Development Scheme recently organized a two-day workshop on ‘Introductory Course on Research Methodology and Biostatistics’ for the students of BSc Nursing & MSc Nursing. The Key Note Speakers of the workshop were Dr Shubham Pandey, Additional Director, Institute of Applied Statistics, Kanpur and Dr Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor & Head of Department of Critical Care Nursing, Himalayan College of Nursing, Dehradun.


The inaugural session commenced with welcome address by Prof Rintu Chaturvedi, Principal SRMS College of Nursing in the benign presence of Dr Pavan Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology, SRMS IMS; Dr G Kranthi Kumar, Regional Coordinator, Associate Professor, Department of Physiology SRMS IMS; Prof Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal SRMS College of Nursing & other dignitaries. During the workshop, students got a brief & valuable introduction of research methodology that helped them to gain essential skills in study design, data analysis & drawing meaningful conclusions.


The program concluded with valedictory speech & vote of thanks by Prof Aneesh Chandran, followed by certificate distribution to participants. At the end, on behalf of UP State Medical Faculty (UPSMF), Lucknow, all the participants were awarded with 4 credit hours for this workshop.
