SRMS College of Nursing, Bareilly recently organised a two-day International Conference on DIGI NURSE-2025 via hybrid mode at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly, on the theme ‘Transitioning from Bedside to Digital Nursing’. An initiative with regard to World Health Day, the conference brought national & international speakers to exchange ideas, share innovative approaches, and discuss advancements in digital nursing.
The conference, inaugurated by Chief Guest Brig. (Dr) Kiran S, Commandant Military Hospital, Bareilly, alongside Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust, began with a session on overview of digital nursing by Dr Puvaneswari K, Assistant Professor, University of Bisha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Professor Dr Anitha Martin, Vice Principal, Rohilkhand College of Nursing, Bareilly spoke on ‘Genomics & Nursing Practice: Advancing the Nursing Profession’ while Dr Pramilla R, Principal, Chirayu College of Nursing, Bhopal shared insights on ‘AI and its use in Nursing’.
Thereafter, Siddeshwar Angadi & Dr Yogesh Kumar from TMU Moradabad spoke on ‘Virtual Nursing & its Potential’ & ‘Patient Education & Empowerment’ each. Dr Vasantha Gurusamy (University of Pittsburg, USA) & Subin Prabhu Chellappan (Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Canada) spoke on ‘Digital Technology & Digital Skill: Transforming the Future Nursing’ & ‘Telemedicine Trends, Wearable Appliance & Mobile Health Technology’ each. Professor Dr Anil Parashar (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Faridabad) discussed ‘Sustainability in healthcare innovation’, while Dr Pratiti Haldar & Alex James from GECON, GEHU, Bhimtal spoke on ‘Ethics in digital health’ & ‘Technological challenges in nursing care’ each.
The event concluded with Scientific Paper & Poster Presentations, followed by a valedictory session.
