SRMS COLLEGE OF NURSING MARKS 75TH CONSTITUTION DAY WITH CREATIVE COMPETITIONS & THOUGHTFUL DISCUSSIONS

Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) College of Nursing, Bareilly marked the 75th Constitution Day with spirited participation from BSc Nursing students of the 2021–2024 batch. The event began with an orientation session, where students were introduced to their constitutional rights, duties and democratic framework of India.

Dr Muthu Maheshwari, Principal of Nursing College, highlighted Constitution’s significance in shaping the nation’s progress. Various competitions followed, showcasing creativity & intellectual engagement. The Rangoli & Painting competitions featured vibrant designs and artwork inspired by themes of unity, democracy & constitutional values. In the Speech Competition, students presented thoughtful views ‘Role of Constitution in Modern India’ & ‘Fundamental Rights and Duties of Citizens.’ Their performances were evaluated by Professor Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal, and Parashram, Associate Professor, Nursing College, based on content, delivery, relevance & confidence.

A lively Debate Competition encouraged discussions on ‘Freedom vs. Responsibility: A Constitutional Perspective,’ while informative PPT presentations enriched audience’s understanding of the Constitution. Later, top three winners were announced, wherein Priya Kashyap & Amisha Patel (Batch 2022), Monika (2021) won Rangoli competition; Priyanka (2021), Shruti Saini (2022), Arun (2024) won Painting competition, while Akansha (2024), Kripa (2024), Monika (2021) were felicitated in Speech activity. However, the event concluded with solemn pledge to uphold Constitution’s values & principles. The MOC’s, Anshuman and Divyanshi delivered vote of thanks, bringing the celebratory day to a close.
