The Department of CSE, ECE & Basic Sciences in association with Verve Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology & Research (SRMS CETR), Bareilly organized a one day Annual Tech Fest— ‘TECHNOVAGANZA 2023’. The highlights of the tech fest were various team-based Technical Events like Code Sense, Scavenger Hunt, Innovative Mind, Web Battle, and solo events like Ace the Media, Tech Whiz & APTEC Catechization. The event saw enthusiastic participation of more than 500 students of Shri Ram Murti Smarak Trust Institutions, MJPRU, KCMT, Future Group of Institutions & Rajshree Institute of Management & Technology etc.
The inaugural began with ceremonial lamp lightning by Shri Dev Murti, Founder &Chairman, SRMS Trust and Dr. LS Maurya, Principal SRMS CETR in the presence of Er. Subhash Mehra; Trust Advisor; Air Marshal Dr. M.S Butola, Principal IMS; Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS; Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal, SRMS College of Nursing; Dr. Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell; Dr. Arti Gupta, Director Pharmacy; Er. Ankit Khandelwal, DSW & several others. The MOC of the event were Ruchie Sah, Assistant Professor, Basic Science & Imana Azram, Assistant Professor, CSE Department.
The fest continued with a welcome address by Dr. LS Maurya and the introduction of fest events by Er Manvi Mishra, HOD, CSE. Later, a skit & a robotic-theme dance were showcased by Verve Club. The inaugural session ended with a presidential address by Shri Dev Murti wherein he urged students to embrace teamwork & collaboration as a mantra for success. The event concluded with valedictory session wherein Er. Ankur Kumar, Assistant Professor, CSE presented the report of the events. Later, a vote of thanks was delivered by Er. K.K Agarwal, HOD, Basic Science, followed by Prize-Distribution.
Towards the end, winners were announced.

APTEC Catechization (Technical Quiz for First Year)-Ayush Agarwal, CETR secured 1st position.
Tech Whiz (Technical Quiz for Second year onwards)-Yash Garg, CETR secured 1st position.
Ace the Media (Social Media Competition)-Pooja Arya, CETR clinched 1st prize.
TEAM EVENTS—
Web Battle (Web Designing)-Dheerendra Kumar & Ashish Yadav, CETR grabbed 1st position.
Code Sense (Coding Team Contest)-Anantika Mishra & Nikita Tripathi, CETR secured 1st position.
Scavenger Hunt (Riddles Searching Event)-Ashi Verma and Muskan, CETR secured 1st position.
Innovative Mind (Presenting Innovative Unique Ideas)-Jyoti Bharti, Archie Vashishth &Lavangi Saxena from CET secured 1st position.
