The Founder, Trustees & Members of Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust is set to commemorate the ‘36th Punyatithi’ of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji — a veteran freedom fighter, true Gandhian, former UP Minister, and Parliamentarian, on OCTOBER 2, 2024, at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly. The ‘Shradhanjali Samaroh 2024’ will be an inspiring and heartfelt tribute to his indomitable spirit and steadfast dedication to education &societal service.
In line with his visionary and timeless legacy, SRMS Trust will distribute Scholarships worth Rs 3.5 crores to meritorious students from all SRMS Trust Institutions. These scholarships aim to nurture academic excellence & provide essential support to deserving students. The prestigious ‘Ram Murti Pratibha Alankaran’ will also be awarded during the event, honoring individuals who have made remarkable contributions to their respective fields in nation-building. However, this year’s recipients include Dr Naresh, a litterateur, poet, author & spiritual guide; Dr Arjumand Zaidi, a dedicated social worker and Karnav Rastogi, a climate change activist. Recognizing and felicitating the winners of the Debate and Story-Writing Competitions will be an added highlight to celebrate their intellectual contributions.
