Commemorating India’s 75th Republic Day, Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust Institutions hit a six with an action-packed Cricket Match followed by a family picnic & series of engaging events for faculty and staff members of SRMS Trust Institutions. The day was not just about cricket; families also enjoyed fun games and a gala picnic.
The much-awaited Cricket Match kicked-off having Team-1comprising of SRMS CET, SRMS CETR, SRMS College of Law, SRMS College of Nursing & SRMS Riddhima, which faced off against Team 2 comprising of SRMS IMS, SRMS IPS and SRMS Goodlife Hospital.
The epic cricket showdown witnessed the presence of Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust; Asha Murti, Trustee SRMS Trust; Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Richa Murti, Director, SRMS Goodlife Hospital;Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell; Dr Arti Gupta, Director Pharmacy; Air Marshal Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS; Dr Neelima Mehrotra, Dean UG& several others.
Parallel to the cricket match, a series of engaging activities unfolded including musical chair,tambola game, kids race etc. These events not only added to the day’s excitement, but also fostered a sense of unity & joy among the participants. Towards the end, the match winners were declared, wherein TEAM-1 (SRMS CET) emerged victorious. However, the Man of the Match title was clinched by Sanjay Singh, while the Best Batsman title was earnedby Sudhanshu Saxena. Dr Sovan Mohanty was recognized as the Best Bowler, where as Professor Dr Jitendra Singh Yadav received the Best Fielder award.
