8th February, 2021| Centennial Auditorium – SRMS Trust Institutions marked their 20th Convocation Day with a memorable ceremony on 8th February, 2021. The Chief Guest for day was Prof. (Dr.) Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Vikram University with the Guests of Honour being Shri Sudeep Majumdar, VP-HR, Corporate HR Head, Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited and Shri Jai Agarwal, Managing Director, C. P. Milk & Food Products Pvt. Ltd.
The proceedings of the day followed the safety protocol mandated due to the pandemic but it didn’t dampen the spirits of the gathering. The event began on an auspicious note with the traditional lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. It was followed by a welcome address from Shri Dev Murti Ji, Chairman, SRMS Trust. In his speech he talked about the challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic and how SRMS Trust Institutions rose to them without compromising on the future of the graduating batch.
Prof. (Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta presented the annual academic report. Shri Dev Murti Ji then declared the convocation open. Powerful speeches by the esteemed guests inspired the new graduates in the gathering. The much-anticipated moment was when they took the alumni oath. Students of M. Tech, MCA, M. Pharm, MBA, B. Pharm, and B. Tech programs then received their well deserved degrees.
The event culminated with the distribution of medals and cash prizes to special awardees. In all, 14 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals and 5 Bronze Medals were awarded to meritorious students of various programs. This year’s Gold Medal winners were:

After the distribution of medals and cash awards, Shri Dev Murti Ji presented the mementos to the esteemed guests of the convocation day. The vote of thanks was given by, Shri Aditya Murti, Secretary, SRMS Trust. The ceremony ended with the National Anthem and the vision to keep progressing towards excellence in the future.
