For fresh graduates of SRMS Engineering Institutions, 8 February will be a day to remember. SRMS CET, Bareilly, SRMS CETR, Bareilly, and SRMS CET, Lucknow will host their Convocation Day in a glittering ceremony that will be presided over by Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak (Vice Chancellor, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow). Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Late Shri Ram Murti, the inspiration behind SRMS Trust, this is cause for double celebration.
SRMS Engineering Institutions have been consistently training engineers, who have gone on to become industry leaders across domains. Strong placement record and the trust of a growing list of recruiters have added to the institutions’ reputation. The 17th Convocation of SRMS CET, Bareilly, 6th Convocation of SRMS CETR, Bareilly, and 3rd Convocation of SRMS CET, Lucknow will add many new names to the list of talented professionals graduating from the three institutions.
Preparations for the event are in full swing as the organizers want to make the Convocation Day memorable for the young graduates. Leading dignitaries from industry and academia will be present on the day to inspire and encourage students taking early steps into the professional world. They will assemble in the Robing Tent before the procession heads to the venue.
Among the much awaited talks will be the Welcome Address by Chairman, SRMS Trust, Annual Reports by the Dean, and the Convocation Address by the Chief Guest Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak. New graduates of B. Tech., MBA, MCA, and B. Pharm. will then receive degrees, which will open new doors for them in the industry and hold them in good stead in their future careers. This year 28 B. Tech. students, 4 B. Pharm. graduates, and 3 MBA and MCA students will be awarded medals and cash prizes for exceptional academic performance.
