The ‘36th Shradhanjali Samaroh’ of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji , held at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly witnessed two renowned dignitaries being awarded with prestigious ‘Ram Murti Pratibha Alankaran’ by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust, for their extraordinary contributions towards nation-building. Among the notable recipients were Dr Naresh, a renowned litterateur, poet, author & spiritual guide, and Dr Arjumand Zaidi, a dedicated social worker, geographer, educationist, environmentalist, human rights & global peace activist.
Expressing profound sense of admiration on receiving the award, Dr Naresh, who has authored 100+ books in English, Urdu, Hindi & Punjabi, along with 1000+ research articles published, said, “I feel privileged & extend my gratitude to SRMS Trust for acknowledging my work. SRMS is promoting humanity & values in our society with remarkable contributions in education, healthcare & social initiatives. Imbibing these ethics, we must embrace every individual with love & understanding, and treat others as we would want ourselves to be treated.”
Another recipient, Dr Arjumand Zaidi, conferred with a ‘Doctorate in Social Activism’ by World Peace of UN University, has been appointed Vice President of World Human Rights Protection Commission in collaboration with UN Human Rights Commission. During her address, she gave a global opportunity to nominate two students of SRMS Trust Institutions, who shall further represent at UN Headquarters. Speaking further, she added, “I’m grateful to Shri Dev Murti for this recognition & appreciate him for inculcating respect & values among youth that’s declining in today’s scenario. However, there is a dire need to educate them for a better global future.”
